AstraZeneca has joined forces with BBSTEM to provide an opportunity for university students and recent graduates of an African or Caribbean heritage to visit AstraZeneca and learn about the Early Talent opportunities.
Throughout the day you will hear from scientists who work within various areas of the business from Chemistry to Data Science. AstraZeneca will also be highlighting the STEM based early career opportunities including our graduate programmes and our R&D Postdoc programme. We will be giving you the opportunity to learn more about our assessment centres, and you can also ask our recent Graduate Scientists about their experiences during the application process.
We are looking for University students from second year Bachelors or Masters to post-doc who are currently studying a STEM subject on track to receive a 2.1 or equivalent. If you do not fit this criteria, your invitation will be cancelled.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Please do let us know of any dietary requirements you may have.
Spaces at this event are limited to 40, first come first served. We ask that on the registration page, you submit a 100 word paragraph about your interest in the pharmaceutical industry and the benefit this day will bring for you.
If you have registered but are unable to attend, please cancel your ticket through Eventbrite and email firstname.lastname@example.org. We will have a waiting list available for those who are unable to register and will inform you with good notice if we are able to offer you a space.
Please do not book travel for this event until you have confirmation of your attendance from Kayleigh Vincent.
